We live in a world where digital technology not only enhances our lives but creates new challenges and needs that many families and parents in particular, are dealing with for the very first time. As part of its ongoing commitment to families and their security online, Trend Micro is looking to find ten families to take part in an exciting new project, the Digital Joneses. The selected families will also receive a new iPad, and a range of security software as well as free identity theft insurance.
If you enjoy spending time online; talking to your friends, reading the news and browsing the very latest in online shopping, or perhaps it’s your children who enjoy gaming and are always seen with phone in hand, or maybe your partner who always has the latest gadgets and is connected to the web 24/7, then you and your family could be in with a chance of taking part. The project will show how everyday families use the internet, and the problems and issues they may face as a result.
Throughout the next year, ten families from across the UK will be given a number of tasks and challenges, designed to highlight some of the main concerns and problems that families face online; whether that’s security, lifestyle changes or the role that technology plays in relationships with friends and family. The families will also receive a new iPad, and a range of security software as well as free identity theft insurance. You don’t need to be a gadget freak or technology geek, we’re looking for everyday families who are increasingly using the internet and a wide variety of devices as part of their daily lives.
