Prepare for a night of outrageous comedy, burlesque, risqué musical theatre, and plenty of sparkle - all wrapped up in eighty minutes of hilarity.

From the moment the live band strikes up a raunchy take on your favourite Christmas classics, the tone is set: this show is bold, brash, and utterly unapologetic. The cast of eight – including Australia’s original “Bad Santa,” Stephen Hirst – deliver a non-stop barrage of comedy skits, irreverent stand-up, and sultry dance numbers. Its equal parts glitz, wit, and pure festive filth.

Think Magic Mike meets The Play That Goes Wrong – if both decided to throw a Christmas party after a few too many eggnogs. And just when you think the show couldn’t get any naughtier, it does, pushing boundaries while somehow remaining endearing. You’ll laugh, you’ll gasp, and you might even blush.

But it’s not all sequins and sass; there’s a surprising warmth at its core. Beneath the bawdy jokes and burlesque shimmying, A Very Naughty Christmas pokes fun at festive clichés while celebrating the chaos of the season.

A word of warning: if you’re easily offended, this is not the show for you. Swearing, nakedness, and adult humour are very much part of the package (or should I say, the stocking?). But if you’re up for a side-splitting, slightly scandalous night out, you won’t be disappointed.

Grab your friends, leave the kids at home, and embrace the naughty side of Christmas. Tickets start at just £24, so don’t miss this spectacularly saucy winter treat.

A Very Naughty Christmas runs until 11th January 2025 at Southwark Playhouse Elephant. Get your tickets now – because you definitely don’t want to wait for Santa’s “nice list” to see this one.
