Star Wars Christmas Gifting ideas

Rogue One, a new Star Wars story has just been released so I am sharing here all Star Wars related articles that I have written in the past, the best books on the subject including my favourite Star Wars Christmas Gifting ideas.

I have been often asked why I love Star Wars by people who clearly do not know what it is all about. They said that they did not like Star Wars because they did not enjoy sci-fi in general. It is not about sci-fi but more about great storytelling. It doesn’t really matter that the stories are based in galaxies far far away. The characters are very human and their pains and joys are very much like ours.

On the other hand you have the Star Wars aficionados, those who are super fans and know absolutely everything about Star Wars.

Fashion

My 10 year old son Diego and I share a passion for Star Wars so we got ourselves matching Stormtrooper candy skull tees from www.sgtsmith.com Inspired by the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire, with a ‘Day of the Dead’ sugar skull twist, this design is perfect for any fan of the greatest story, from a galaxy, far far away – big or small. Subversive? Maybe… just don’t tell Vader! Ah ah ah

Stormtrooper candy skull t-shirts are available from www.sgtsmith.com, and what I love about them is that they are designed and printed in Britain / Yorkshire. Men’s T-shirt £23 (S – 4XL), Kids T-shirt £15 (2 – 12yr). The design is also available in baby sizes and also as a unisex sweatshirt.

Last Christmas when Star Wars – The Force Awakens was released, H&M sold lots of Star Wars clothing for kids and teenagers. I really loved them but I thought I would not find adults’ size. Surprisingly the 12 year old size of this T-Shirt from New Hope (the very first Star Wars film from 1978) was fine for both myself and child reporter Amelie, as you can see in this picture. More matching clothing. It’s fun!

The Star Wars jumper also from H&M I am wearing in the picture below and in the vlog came only in teenager size but luckily that was fine too. The shining and sparkling letters really catch everybody’s eyes.

Check this jumper in action while I film this vlog about the STAR WARS Identities exhibition in London.
