This Week’s Movie News From Talking Pictures

Matt Damon is lost in space in The Martian.

The countdown is over because the latest edition of Talking Pictures, your essential guide to the movies, is here!  And two of this week’s new releases at the cinema are real epics.  There’s The Martian, the latest from legendary director, Ridley Scott, with Matt Damon as an astronaut stranded on the Red Planet.  And Scott is also in the hot seat for The Big Interview.

The other epic is set in war-torn Scotland.  Something wicked this way comes and it’s Michael Fassbender as Macbeth.  And Robert de Niro goes back to week in another new release.  He’s The Intern.

The new DVDs include two contrasting love stories, 21st century rom com, Man Up, and gritty British drama, Catch Me Daddy, with two teenager lovers on the run.  Plus there’s the new top five at the British box office, and the week’s movie news, all packed into just over 20 minutes.
