The return of my favourite blue hedgehog, along with his faithful sidekicks, Knuckles and Tails, as the dynamic trio experience their most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is back with another hair raising adventure just in time for Christmas.

At the request of the military organisation G.U.N., the trio are tasked with stopping Shadow The Hedgehog which was a former military experiment that has escaped containment. As they are unlikely to defeat him they join alliance with the mad scientist Dr Robotnik hoping to stop the baddie Shadow and save the planet. The matter is complicated when Robotnik is reunited with his long-lost grandfather, Gerald Robotnik who has his own sinister plans.

Shadow is played by Keanu Reeves and has impressive superpowers including teleportation and awesome strength could not only defeat Sonic and his friends, but could put the planet’s future in jeopardy.

The movie is exhilarating and full of energy throughout. There are plenty of feel good moments and humorous scenes. We left the cinema with smiles on our faces chatting about certain scenes and moments. Thoroughly enjoyable! My mum grew up playing Sonic the Hedgehog on her Sega console collecting gold rings, where I have watched all three Sonic The Hedgehog movies and enjoyed all of them thoroughly!
