Thinking of heading off on a caravan holiday in 2025? There are plenty of lovely spots around the UK to visit, so many that you’re going to be pretty spoilt for choice.

Luckily for you, we’re here to help with any potential decision paralysis and set out our picks for some of the best UK caravan holiday spots to consider for next year. So, read on to find out where to head and get ready to pack your bags for a last minute caravan holiday

  1. Cornwall

It’s hardly a surprising pick, but there’s no denying that Cornwall is one of the best holiday spots in the whole of the UK. In terms of caravanning, the sunnier than average climate is definitely a bright spot, so that you’re spending less days sheltering from the rain.

With hundreds of different beaches to visit, miles upon miles of stunning clifftop walks to venture along, and many lovely towns to check out, you’ll never find yourself short of things to do in Cornwall. Plus, the local laid-back attitude is the ideal backdrop for a more relaxed time away (just as long as you don’t visit during peak season).

  1. The Lake District

Not quite as sunny as our last pick, the Lake District is still a lovely destination for any caravan holiday. The scenery in the region is quite simply stunning, ranging from expansive lakes and dramatic mountain peaks to lush green valleys and postcard-perfect villages.

Anyone looking to have a more nature-minded holiday should consider the Lake District, especially as local caravan parks are situated in some truly gorgeous areas of countryside. Whether you’d rather spend your time boating on one of the region’s titular lakes, like Windermere or Grasmere, or if you feel like tackling the hike up Scafell Pike, there are plenty of options for the active holidaymaker.

Plus, for families, you can’t miss out on a visit to the home of Beatrix Potter and the museum that features many of her beloved characters.

  1. Northumberland

Another beautiful slice of British countryside awaits in Northumberland, along with plenty of fascinating local history to explore on your visit. Sitting on the Scottish border, this particular county has its fair share of ancient castles as well as the iconic Hadrian’s Wall.

You can walk along long stretches of the historic border wall, visiting ancient Roman fortifications and learning more about the history of the land along the way. And there’s still some stunning beaches to enjoy relaxing on, as well as the wild beauty of Northumberland National Park to bask in.

  1. Devon

Often overlooked in favour of its neighbouring county, Devon has many lovely beaches of its own. With the added benefit of being potentially less crowded during the busier summer months, thanks to a lot of holidaymakers heading across the border to Cornwall instead!

Not only does Devon have some stunning stretches of coastline, but it also has the rugged wilds of Dartmoor National Park. This makes the county a great choice for anyone looking for either a seaside or a countryside caravan retreat, offering the best of both worlds on a single trip.

  1. Scottish Highlands

Going almost as far to the north as possible, the Scottish Highlands are another perfect caravan holiday location to consider. They have even more wild natural beauty to enjoy, with caravan parks set in the sort of idyllic remote locations that you have to see to believe.

Enjoy nights spent in the shadow of imposing mountains and wake up early to glide across the waters of a tranquil loch. A visit to the Scottish Highlands is ideal for a proper 2025 reset and rejuvenating break from the pressures of everyday life.

Hopefully, we’ve helped to narrow down the options when it comes to planning a UK caravan holiday in 2025. Any of these spots would make for some great holiday opportunities and some incredible memories.
