Divorce is complicated and emotional and can seriously impact physical and mental health. It’s essential to balance processing emotions and maintaining some sense of normalcy in life. Use this transitional phase of time to become self-aware and foster personal growth by cultivating self-help and healthy habits. This can enhance recovery and reinvention. The following strategies are designed to help you stay healthy and maintain peace of mind, physical and mental wellness even during divorce.

1. Caring for Your Physical Health:

Communicate your needs and boundaries to the other person, and don’t feel bad about saying “no” to things that are not in your interest. This includes setting boundaries with an ex-partner to ensure all communication is polite and productive. 

Do your best by choosing options that allow you to stay true to what is essential in the long run. Remember, caring for yourself is not selfish; you need to be healthy and happy before you can help others similarly.
