After meeting the cast of Marvel Universe Live Show a few months ago, we finally attended the premiere of the first UK performance at the O2 Arena last week. Needless to say that the show was spectacular with lots of special effects but more aimed at children than parents. Watch this cute video of the kids where they give their honest opinion on the show.
This is the kids’ hilarious video…
Attending the premiere of Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden has brought back lots of emotional childhood memories. As an Italian, I was brought up with good food and Opera. Undeniably listening to Opera can be quite daunting as a young person but once you get into it around the teenage years, you will love it forever. Now that I am middle aged I find myself even…
This week on Roald Dahl’s Day I took my ten year old son and a friend to see the West End musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the third time. With so much to do in London I rarely go and see the same show twice and certainly never three times. But this one is everybody’s absolute favourite and we did want to see it one more time before it leaves London early next year.
On one of the last sunny days of Summer getting on my bike from Richmond Park to Notting Hill Carnival made me really appreciate why I love London and Londoners so much.
If you could not attend Notting Hill Carnival this year, you missed out on an absolute corker! Watch my vlog on YouTube to feel the fantastic vibe at the biggest street party in Europe. I hope I could convey the spirit of the…

Diego (9) and I went to watch a new Summer play based on THE SCARECROWS’ WEDDING book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and were not disappointed. At the end of the show we even met the illustrator who wrote a lovely dedication on our book, which we have read and treasured for many years. Call me childish or infantile, but I totally loved the way the story was brought to life by just three…

Last night Take That, Olly Murs and guests put up a show of a lifetime in Hyde park as part of the BST concerts.
I saw them in concert before and knew to expect great things from them but the magic atmosphere of a warm and sunny afternoon and night in one of London’s iconic parks has certainly helped turning this concert into a memorable one for Londoners.
Olly Murs was a great…
