Science is now become really popular and kids are introduced to scientific topics in a very fun way. There are a lot of boffins around among our kids who are all a bit geeky these days. You can even organise science parties and make slime and make explosions etc. But only the Brainiacs can do the riskier type of experiments that we could not try at home but we would love to watch. The popular TV show has now come out of the small screen and if you haven’t seen the Brainiac live show at the Big Bang show in March, then you can go and see it in the West End at the wonderful Palace Theatre.
We absolutely loved it and it’s been our second time this year already! We may be a bit of science boffins but even if you are not you will enjoy the team led by Dan Colman & Rupert Gavin in the Brainiac Live! Science Abuse, the show that laughs in the face of science.
It’s now making its West-End debut at the Palace Theatre’s from the 18th July- 17th August 2013.
The show, which is based on the multi-award winning Sky One series made by ITV Studios, Brainiac, is hitting the stage with a bang. Literally. It will bring mischief and mayhem to the West-End for 23 days across an incredible 50 shows during July and August. You can expect to see exploding dustbins, combusting microwaves, Airzooka challenges and lots of messy audience participation. It’s a no-brainer; it is the perfect summer holiday outing for girls and boys alike.
Andy Joyce, No.1 Brainiac and presenter of the show, says “I’m so excited about presenting the show in the West-End after doing over two hundred and fifty performances around the UK and I can’t wait to see the amazement on the children’s faces, when they see our daredevil experiments!”
Since 2008 Brainiac Live! Science Abuse has played to packed houses across the UK in theatres, holiday resorts and Science Festivals, blowing the minds of over 400,000 children and their families. In 2010 the show headlined the Big Bang Fair, the UK’s leading science-engagement event attended by over 55,000 young people and now, as it makes its West-End debut it will have children running back to their science lesson in September with enthusiasm and an eagerness for more explosive knowledge!
