New Scientist Live returns with a Festival of Ideas & Discovery for the whole family 28 September – 1 October 2017

New Scientist Live, the festival of ideas and discovery, returns to London between 28 September and 1 October with headline speakers including Tim Peake, Heston Blumenthal, Chris Packham and Margaret Atwood bringing the latest ideas and innovations from science down to Earth. The festival, held by the world’s most loved science weekly and set at London’s ExCeL, will feature more than 120 inspirational, innovative, and informative talks that touch on all areas of human life. Answering some of life’s greatest questions, curious festival-goers of all ages will hear from a range of world-renowned guests, including authors, comedians, and business brains.

The Festival of Ideas will feature five immersive zones: Cosmos, Earth, Humans, Technology, and Engineering. Showcasing how science, technology and engineering drive our economy, shape our culture and improve our lives, key features include:
