Zero Gravity Room – Easily the standout experience. This room gives the sensation of floating or walking on walls, and the photos we snapped were just as surreal as the experience itself. We felt like space hamsters let loose in a NASA experiment.

Paradox Tunnel – An old fairground trick with a high-tech upgrade, the spinning illusion here really had us stumbling about like we’d had one too many glasses of Prosecco. Both hilarious and vertigo-inducing – what’s not to love?

Upside-Down Tube Station – A cheeky nod to London’s underground, this is both a fabulous photo opp and a disorienting thrill.

And yes – we did take 37 photos in the upside-down room alone and managed to look hilariously confused in every single one.
A chat with the manager
We had the chance to speak with the venue’s friendly and enthusiastic manager, who confirmed that this is not a pop-up, but a permanent addition to London’s cultural landscape. He explained that the sheer investment in mirrored infrastructure, digital set-ups and immersive tech meant a temporary format wouldn’t make sense. “This was a major installation,” he told us, “and we’ve designed it to last.”
This permanence is good news, because once word spreads, we expect the Paradox Museum to become a staple on the London day-out circuit.
Family friendly, but also for adults (by themselves)
Although kids will love the sensory experience (and yes, there are child-friendly descriptions throughout), this is not one of those outings where grown-ups are stuck awkwardly spectating. From confused selfies to belly-laugh-inducing optical illusions, everyone is a participant.
We especially loved the fact that lockers are available for free, which made exploring the rooms much easier without lugging around coats or bags. This small touch shows they’ve really thought about visitor experience.
