In 2014 lots of WW1 anniversary celebrations are taking place across the UK and Europe and as a parent I feel it’s my responsibility to teach my son all about WW1 and WW2. The school is also helping out explaining history in a simple way which is important to understand current issues and political scenarios. But I believe the new interactive look of the Imperial War Museum will certainly help children as well as parents to understand what happened during these crucial events in the last century.
The Imperial War Museum has received a £40 million revamp including restructuring the bright atrium which now includes significant airplanes such as the Spitfire, as well as a press agency Reuters jeep, wreckage of a military vehicle and other big guns and rockets.
