Bateaux London launches a festive family lunch Cruise

Lockdown limitations are really proving a challenge for parents and carers who want to book some festive family fun in the capital this year. With so many of the usual annual attractions closed or offering limited availability, it’s great to hear of new places that the family can enjoy together.

One of those places is Bateaux London, the iconic Thames cruise experience that has this week launched its first Festive Family Lunch Cruise, perfect for kick-starting the season in style.

The cruise sets sail from Embankment Pier on Sunday 20th December 2020 and promises to be a magical time. Gently gliding along the magnificent River Thames, past London’s most iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament, the on-board chefs will cook a delicious Sunday lunch as a children’s entertainer delights young guests, leaving grown-ups to relax.

Given the uncertain times, Bateaux London bookings are backed with a full refund policy so that guests can plan this extra-special Christmas entertainment in confidence; if more restrictions get in the way, they’ll get their money back. Claire Bedouin of Bateaux London says, “We added this new cruise to our programme because this year, more than ever, we know that families are looking for ways to come together and make memories.

“All year round, we welcome thousands of guests on board to create special moments right here on the Thames – from marriage proposals and big birthdays to anniversaries and company celebrations, we’ve hosted them all! I am so excited to open up Bateaux London to family groups who want to do something special together this Christmas.”

Grown-ups can rest assured that Bateaux London is operating to the latest Government guidelines with measures in place to keep everyone safe, including reduced capacity, social distancing and clear signage. There are also the added benefits of baby changing facilities, highchairs, a buggy park and friendly, caring staff who are there to help.
