Giant sand art drawing in Blackpool Beach

To celebrate the release of Alvin & The Chipmink (out on DVD & Blu-ray Monday 2nd April 2012), a fantastic sand artist created a bespoke drawing on Blackpool beach yesterday (on 29-March 2012). The sand art drawing is of Alvin and is around 165 feet and has been drawn in a way that can be seen from the beach opposed to having to go in a helicopter to see it!

The event involved children from a local school who came down for a sand master class to help create this unique drawing. It was an exciting event for children and to create a fantastic art spectacle on the beach – something a little bit different!
