Artist Luke Adam Hawker began his career as a designer before becoming a full time artist back in 2015. Since then he has focussed on drawing on location, fascinated with the world around him and how drawing can help us connect with both places and people.
The lockdown of 2020 suddenly limited Luke’s ability to travel. Like many of us he spent months at home, and this new restricted way of life inspired a new introspective way of drawing, helping him understand and depict the day to day effects of the extraordinary challenges unfolding across the world.
I love Luke Adam Hawker’s instagram account as he shares his lovely drawings in the making @lukeadamhawker.com. His website is www.lukeadamhawker.com
