Win 1 of 7 Moo Moo teddies courtesy of Infacol

World’s first infant colic indicator application for worried mums
The first six months of a baby’s life can be an anxious time for new mums. A Facebook poll by parenting club Bounty showed that infant colic is the third biggest concern for mums after cot death and postnatal depression.

Infant colic is a common condition affecting around 1 in 5 infants in the first month of life. It is often associated with crying fits, which can last up to three hours at a time and be distressing to both child and parents.

The anxiety for new mums is increased by the fact that colic often occurs late afternoons and evenings, when they can’t reach a midwife or doctor and opt instead for internet research.

‘It can be exhausting and upsetting for parents with a colicky baby, especially in the middle of the night. Coping with the inconsolable crying and not knowing where to turn for the correct advice can be incredibly distressing, but now parents can turn to expert guidance that they can trust at the time that they need it the most,’ says expert midwife Nikki Khan.

For your chance to win one of these amazing teddies, answer the simple question below in our dedicated competition page (USE ONLY THE DEDICATED PAGE & DO NOT SEND MESSAGES OR DO NOT POST MESSAGES ON THE WEBSITE OR ON THIS PAGE AS THE ENTRY WON’T BE VALID – YOU WON’T BE NOTIFIED OF THE WRONG ENTRY) https://new.londonmumsmagazine.com/competition-area. The question is: ‘What’s is Infacol?’ The deadline to enter is 20th December 2012.

Infacol, the UK’s leading infant colic remedy has responded by developing a groundbreaking, infant colic indicator application available on the brand’s Facebook page. This means that concerned parents can finally access an application that helps to quickly identify if their baby has colic.
Quick, simple and completely FREE to use the aptly named ‘Is It Colic?’ application is currently available to use for all on the Infacol Facebook page and has been developed with the assistance of leading experts in the field of colic. It comprises a series of 10 simple ‘yes/no’ style questions which have been carefully constructed to help determine if your baby may have colic.
