Banana and cinnamon ice cream waffles

This recipe is an indulgent breakfast treat and perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

8 scoops of Carte D’Or Caramel Cinnamon Waffle Ice Cream (224g/400ml)- this is the ice cream we have used for this recipe

8 sweet waffles

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 tbsp caster sugar

2 bananas, peeled and sliced

25g chopped pecan nuts

Method

PLACE the waffles onto a baking tray. Sprinkle evenly first with the cinnamon, then with the caster sugar. Grill on high for 4 minutes or until the sugar is starting to caramelise.

ARRANGE the sliced banana between the waffles and warm under the grill for 2 minutes.

SERVE two waffles each, topped with a scoop of Carte D’Or Caramel Cinnamon Waffle Ice Cream.

DECORATE with chopped pecan nuts and serve immediately.
